Datachain Wallet, an Enterprise Web3 Wallet, Obtains a SOC2 Type 1 Assurance Report

Datachain, Inc. (CEO: Tetsushi Hisata; hereinafter “Datachain”), which is engaged in building next-generation financial and payment infrastructure leveraging blockchain technology, is pleased to announce that it has received a SOC 2 Type 1 assurance report on June 23, 2026, based on an assessment by an independent third party, for its enterprise Web3 wallet “Datachain Wallet”.

The SOC 2 Type 1 assurance report received by Datachain is based on an independent third-party assessment of whether the design of security-related internal controls for Datachain Wallet is suitably designed in accordance with the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Background
In the field of on-chain finance, Datachain is promoting the provision of financial and payment infrastructure that supports the use of digital assets for corporate customers, including financial institutions, payment service providers, and large enterprises. In these areas, security management systems, internal controls, and transparency in operational processes are critically important for the safe handling of assets and transaction information. In particular, for financial institutions and other enterprise customers, trust in information security and governance is an important requirement when considering service adoption, in addition to service functionality.
In March 2026, Datachain obtained certification under ISO/IEC 27001, an international standard for ISMS.
