Datachain Joins the Japan Digital Economic Federation

Datachain, Inc. (CEO: Tetsushi Hisata; hereinafter “Datachain”), which is engaged in building next-generation financial and payment infrastructure leveraging blockchain technology, is pleased to announce that it has joined the Japan Digital Economic Federation (hereinafter “JDEF”) as a corporate member.

Background and Outlook

Since its founding in 2018, Datachain has been engaged in research and development aimed at solving protocol-level challenges in blockchain technology. Today, the company is working to implement next-generation financial and payment infrastructure across areas such as stablecoins, tokenized deposits, Web3 wallets, on-chain privacy infrastructure, and cross-chain infrastructure.

Datachain strongly supports the mission and activities of JDEF, which aims to promote economic activity through the use of digital technologies and contribute to the sound development of the Japanese economy. In line with this shared vision, Datachain has joined JDEF as a corporate member.

Going forward, Datachain plans to actively participate in JDEF’s proof-of-concept initiatives, particularly through the Tokenization Project Team, which aims to promote the implementation and adoption of on-chain finance, including the tokenization of assets and rights. Through these initiatives, Datachain will work to create use cases that contribute to real-world implementation, while also strengthening its information-sharing activities, deepening dialogue on policy and industry trends, and enhancing collaboration with member companies and related organizations.
